On December 20th Rattan Creek (in the neighborhood where I live) was decorated for Santa Claus's arrival. In the depth of this "niche", by a tree trunk, you may see a plain brown folding chair -- a no-fuss throne for Santa.

Actually, those lights were more like white. They just came out blue in my picture. Still, not a bad winter wonderland in one of the streets surrounding Rattan Creek park.

They are primarily snowmen, but some angel DNA must have been injected into them, else where would the halo around the head come from? :-) (Seen on my neighborhood street.)

This is a decorated tree (not a Christmas tree, just an ordinary kind that grows outside) in my neighborhood. Is it just me, or do the lights make up an abstract drawing of a human figure leaping towards the star?
