P1090553 An accordion player on a Metro train
It's very common for wandering artists to perform on Metro (subway) trains. They get on, play or sing until the train stops at the next stop, and get off. For some reason none or very few of them stay for longer than one stop -- either that's illegal, or they're afraid people will kill them if they're exposed to that racket for much longer. :-) It's really jarring when all of a sudden, in a quiet train, music starts blaring out of nowhere. Many of those performers have microphones and amplifiers.
