E presents a game her team created at Game Worlds -- a week-long game development summer camp for children. As usual, she was the artist in her team. August 2017.
There were some 6-8 teams, each introducing their own game they made during the week. The presentation encompasses the game design, coding, art, sound, as well as the business aspect of the game. The latter covers the projected expenses it would take to turn it into a full-blown, commercially viable game. Since the kids in this camp range from 6 years olds to teenagers, it is interesting how they perceive the business realities of game making. You hear kids saying things like: "We would hire so-and-so (the mentor of their team) as a designer and a snack person. She would tell everyone what to do. Also we would hire Bill Gates, because he is really good at programming."
